Stop Signal Task
The Stop Signal Task (SST) is used in neuropsychology to assess inhibitory control — your ability to cancel an action you have already begun to make.
What it measures- The Stop Signal Reaction Time (SSRT) — an estimate (ms) of how long it takes to stop a response
- Mean reaction time (ms) on go-trials (no stop signal)
- The range of Stop Signal Delays (ms) used during the task
